Weddings
I've got spots or wear a brace ?
Don't worry - we can edit the photographs afterwards to remove spots, scars or even a brace.

What happens if it rains ?
Don't worry ! - Everybody wants it to be a nice day and so do we but if it does rain we carry a supply of umbrellas so you will not get wet ! We would have also pre-prepared ourselves and have alternative plans if outdoor photography is not appropriate.
Sometimes, rain can actually make the photographs look great so you enjoy your day and we'll do the best we can.

What if your ill on the day ?
Possible but we'd have to be dying to let you down. It's very unlikely that the two photographers assigned for your day will both be ill so you'll always have at least one.
We are members of the Eclipse Network of Photographs and will call one of our members from another area in to cover as well.
We will always contact you in the unfortunate event of sickness and will do all we can to ensure that any stand in photographers meet you both either the day before.
If it's any consolation, our principle photographer, Carl Thomas, has in 20 years never had a day off sick ! He really would have to be dying !!

How long is it before we see the photographs ?
We guarantee that your proof album will be ready and the photographs available on the internet within seven days of your wedding or you receive £100 !

Is there a limit to the number of photographs ?
No !
The only limit we have is in the album but there is flexibility. We always suggest working on 3 photos to a page. A typical album is 15 pages which would accommodate between 80-90 photographs comfortably. However, we did once manage to get 170 photos into a 15 page album and it looked very nice as well. We though initially it would look a bit cramped but with the size being fairly big it worked very well.

The day is running late - will you stay ?
All weddings are important to us as it is to you. When you book us we will not take on another wedding on that day or any other work whatsoever. If you wanted we can be with you from the moment you wake until the moment you retire !

One of the bridesmaids is shy and we're worried it'll show ?
Again, don't worry. If you let us know before hand we'll go and talk to them, show them the camera or even invite them to the studio for a portrait session. This way on the day they'll know who we are, how friendly we are, what to expect and you'll get great photographs !

Uncle Bob Has Offered To Take Our Photographs
This may save you money but we use one word - Don't ! Is Uncle Bob qualified, how many weddings has he done, is he insured, what album will you get. . . . . . . You will also find that Uncle Bob will generally concentrate on his side of the family as he knows that side better. Using an independent photogapher will ensure an unbiased approach.

Portraits
How long does a sitting last ?
It will depend on how many are in the sitting but generally a sitting will last between 1 and 1 1/2 hours. We also book 2 hours just in case.

What hours are you open ?
We are available 7 days a week from 10 am until 10 pm although the last sitting will start at 8 pm hrs.

How Should I Dress ?
We'll will provide advise to you when you book taking into consideration the type of portraiture that you are looking for.

How long does it take before we can see the photographs?
Normally it will be between 7 and 10 days. You will be invited back to view the photographs using our latest state of the art viewing software. This viewing is entirely without obligation and we will simply show you the photographs, options and from then it is up to you. Alternatively, you can buy a proof album showing the prints so you may select the prints from the comfort of your home. In addition, you may view the photographs by using our online album facility.

My brother works away but I'd like him in the photograph ?
Not always ideal but we can take a family portrait, leaving a space in the or take it in such a way where we can add him or any other member of your family later. When the missing person is available we'll then take a photograph of them and then insert them into the photograph.
We cannot guarantee that this works in all situations but where it has been done the families have been very happy !

I don't like any of the photographs ?
That's a shame and and we're sorry that we haven't met your expectations. If this does happen then don't worry - simply call us, let us know why you don't like them and make another appointment.
Sometimes, it may be the poses so we'll try different poses or it may be that on the original shoot you were a little uncomfortable. We try to make you as comfortable as possible and relaxed and a second sitting may achieve this as you'll know the photographer
